Curly Sue

After having my hair curly for three months and having it straighten for two weeks made me realized a few things about myself. It's weird because I like my hair both ways but sometimes i love my natural hair more just because when I'm out I dont have to worry about "is it freezy" .."How does it look" but when it's curly I just have this wild thing going on But whenever i have my hair straight i feel like it makes me look older and prettier. Idk why that's just the brainwashed me yapping.=\.
I've also noticed that people who are more into their afrocentric side like my hair curly and then there are some who love it straight. It really gets to me when guys compliment when I have my hair straight... when they say things like oh "Ilike your hair"... I get offended because I had to take time to have my hair like that. UGH!! There were two incidents that happened that I always think of when someone compliments me for having my hair straight. The one that really gets to me is my freshmen year in college there was this mutual guy friend the group had and one day while i was walking to class he was like whats wrong with your hair. Let me tell u my hair was just like it is on the picture above.& I was like wtf are you talkin about. He was like its all over the place. Okkay, I wore my hair like that everyday. Then the next week he was like .."Oh i like your hair its looks nice. "..I was like WoW!... oh kay... He just annoys the hell outta me. I cant stand people like that. It just makes me feel different about that. Like they have been brainwashed. Ofcourse they have because they are soo used to seeing african american females with their hair straight all the time. & people usually mock what they don know or arent use to. eHH iT'S whatever.
